INNOVATIVE NEW BUSINESS LEADERSHIP PROGRAM LAUNCHED IN COLUMBUS The Capital Club Ladder Society

Columbus, Ohio April 1, 2010 - The Capital Club Ladder Society is launching an innovative, custom-tailored leadership program created for Central Ohio professionals. The Ladder Society will guide participants through interactive, cutting edge strategies designed to propel their careers and strengthen their companies. Investing in the next generation of leaders is critical to sustain competitive advantage through a downturn-- and achieve corporate growth over the long term.

The Capital Club Ladder Society is a unique leadership training program not available anywhere else in the Central Ohio area. Most leadership programs focus on civic engagement, particularly in local government and philanthropy. The Ladder Society helps organizations groom the next generation of high potential leaders by helping participants develop a broader vision for company success.

Jack Kessler, Chairman of The New Albany Company says The Capital's Ladder Society is exactly what Columbus needs to develop the city's young business minds into the city's future leaders.

What makes The Ladder Society different? A program combining individual mentorship by some of Columbus' most seasoned and successful executives with a top notch curriculum that challenges participants to strive for career excellence. The curriculum is designed to build strength of character and a well-rounded knowledge base in a variety of business aspects. The Ladder Society equips professionals with the decision-making and execution skills they need to excel as multifaceted leaders. Sample curriculum includes: Leadership Assessment, Creative Problem Solving, Personal Etiquette Development, Wellness and more.

The Ladder Society mentoring program will highlight information executives wish someone had told them during their career growth; as well as how to evaluate yourself and your competition to gain a professional advantage. The Ladder Society includes a one year executive level membership at the Capital Club a premier downtown business club.

Central Ohio professionals looking to move to the next step should apply for the Ladder Society.

The Capital Club will be accepting applications to the Ladder Society beginning April 1, 2010, with a submission deadline of June 1, 2010. The Inaugural class size will be twenty participants.
